Cover-Up in Ennis Police Department?
Received an e-mail from a source in Ennis who spoke with an ex police officer and another "witness" to some shady things going on in the EPD. I'll leave sources' names out of this.

I had customer's give me some juice. A customer ,who is an ex-cop, has a friend on the Ennis police force. He said exactly what you said about the Ennis Daily News. He said they cover up everything in this town. He told me his friend said that an officer, I believe his name is ----, beat his wife and that Dave Smith and Ron Roark talked the wife out of pressing charges. (Both ----- and this customer told me the same story separately so it's either true or Gossip in Ennis is kept in tact as it is passed along(----- and the ex-cop don't know each other)) Cover up. There also is an officer in the EPD that likes little boys. They say his father was a sex offender and I know someone who was abused by the officer's father. This Officer supposedly has a taste for young Mexican boys and takes them to Dallas gets them into clubs. I guess his taste buds for childern have changed over the years from what this customer told me he used to like white boys and girls. But both ------ and the other customer told me this story separately and the same.
The ex-cop customer told me that just a week ago Dave had asked him to put signs in his yard for his run for City Marshall. My customer said that he told Dave he didn't go for that sign in yard stuff but he really just didn't like Dave. THis customer also said that if shit hits the fan he thinks Dave will take the bullet to the head way out. I do know Dave ,as he said in the article, totally messed up his leg and since it wasn't at work he will owe doctor bills for the rest of his life. So he will have to work somewhere. Also, I don't know how the ex-cops EPD friend knows this, but I was told that when some type of authority came to Dave's Office and told him he should stop anything he was doing and that he was suspended. Then they took his Hard rive from his Office computer. Now if that's true they must have reason to think something very bad is going on.

Is Dave Smith the chosen "patsy" for the way the Aniruddha Chitale(sex offender ex-doctor)case was bungled? Dave Smith was given extreme pressure by Ennis city officials, local politicians and Joe Grubbs of our friendly District Attorney's office to cover over the crimes and sweep it under the rug. Seems now that his head is going to be the one to role instead of those who are really responsible. I hope he spills the beans on all those crooked S.O.B.s.

Last week Governor Rick Perry signed an order MANDATING Human Papilloma Virus vaccine for young girls.
As author of The Man Made Plagues, I did extensive research into the US Special Cancer Virus Program and found that AIDS, HIV, HTLV1, 2, 3, and Ebola were creations of that program.
Not only did I find that Human Papilloma Virus is a wart virus, but in actuality it is what is known as SV40 (simian virus 40). It is the 40th simian virus to be tracked from the monkeys used in experimentation and vaccine research.
SV 40 was found in live polio vaccine and through those vaccinations zoonosis occurred, something that cannot happen naturally. It was transferred into the human species through vaccination. Just like herpes 1 and 2, that is known as simian herpes. Zoonosis, that is the spread of animal virus to humans, can’t happen on its own. It had to have the help of these drug companies injecting them into us.
Many would think they “sterilize” the vaccine. However, if they did that it would kill the antibodies as well as the virus. We MUST stop them experimenting on the general populace through using these vaccines.
Our health system has sorely failed us rather than helping us cure diseases it has infected us with various diseases some of which are quite fatal such as AIDS and others just incurable maladies such as herpes 1&2and Human Papilloma Virus a simian venereal wart virus.
I strongly suggest all of us to STOP Governor Perry’s Executive Order to mandate vaccine for young girls for Human Papilloma Virus, as we do not have any idea what is the next epidemic to be brought forth through such vaccination experimentation on us. I would also recommend we call for an investigation of SV 40 transfer into humans through Polio vaccines and investigate other such transfers to humans. Our lives and that of our children and grandchildren are at stake.

Dave Smith had plenty of time to blow Chitale case out of the water, but he made the choice to keep it quite for an additional 2 weeks which resulted in 2 more victims. Berney Sweet wanted to pull this Dr from his staff, but was told not to by Smith. Smith took off for 2 weeks to care for his ailing mother and refused to assign the case to another detective. This whole crime could have been solved without anymore victims if Smith would have done his job in the first place.
There's more problems with the Ennis Police Department than Dave Smith. Dave Smith was only a fraction of the problem, and it goes all back to the former top cop - Dale Holt. Holt was a do-nothing retired on duty waste of money. He was against anything that was positive. He made a point to go back in time with the department as a whole. After his 2 year stint at the Ennis ISD police, he came back in full force to destroy any programs good for the community. Crime fighting programs like the Citizens on Patrol,Street Crimes Unit, DARE, and the drug dog all fell victim to Dale Holt. It's time for new blood in the EPD. Guys like Domingo Galban and Dennis Reno who were involved in the drug trafficking back in the 70's-80's need to go. The reason only Dennis Reno is still there is because he made a plea bargin with the D.A.
I agree with the last comment. There needs to be new blood in the EPD. Ive heard those stories for years about Domingo Galban with his 8 grade education and Dennis Reno and his drug parties back in the 70's. How about Touncy Hart living with his convicted felon crack head girlfriend or Donald Kemp who is said to be a child molestor. He was caught at Rivershawn Park in Dallas (area know for homosexuals) by Dallas PD. Isn't it odd that always has young hispanic males in his truck at all hours of the night. Don't forget about Jeff Smith the wife beater? Then, there's John Wayne Buford Pusser Ron Roark. Enough said about that. Wake up Steve Howerton! Look at what's really there. You want to be in charge, lets see what you've got.
Dave Smith was on duty the entire time of the investigation. He was simply traveling back and forth on the weekends to see his mother. His story was that there were other cases he was working on and that the assault of patients by a doctor wasn't his only case. He was on duty when my attorney called him repeatedly asking about when an arrest of Chitale would take place. He was on duty when I called personally to ask when Chitale would have his DNA taken. It was Joe Grubbs who REFUSED to give him a warrant in order to collect the DNA. Joe Grubbs personally told me on the phone that he was not ready to issue a warrant and he informed me that even the Jon Bonet case never got an indictment for anyone and that my case could stay open as long as seven years. How can an officer do his job if his hands are TIED by the DA and politicians who feel this is all going to be bad for business. Let's ignore the situation and hope that the victim gets tired and goes away.

Dave Smith is a GOOD man. His concern for others is exemplary. He loves God, country, family, and friends. How tragic to portray him as a deviant. He is not! His service to and concern for others depicts an honorable civil servant. This mean-spirited thread only underscores the malicousness of others. If some of you making commments were fodder for small town gossip, you might understand how your perceptions and "knowledge" about Dave have been taken out of context. Sadly, you'll only realize it when it happens to you. Your expose' is petty, incorrect, and damaging. Shame on you!
lets see who is running for city marshal 1. det. sergeant john erisman. who plays a roll on how the ennis pd operates. like crimes that is not being solved. lets go back to the records that howerton had filed for the department.
2. capt. mcbee who plays a roll on how the ennis police department is being operated. let them do their jobs and put the suspect in jail and take the drugs off the streets. these are the two that have announced for city marshal read the paper and see for your self. good job.
I just want to tell everyone reading this, that Donald Kemp is a good man. And unless you were there with him and you saw him with your own eyes doing something he wasn't supposed to, then DON'T believe it. Yes, it may be true about his father having problems years ago, but Donald has nothing but love and compassion in his heart. He tries to reach out and spread the word of GOD to all those teenage boys whom would if not for Donald would be out selling drugs or getting into trouble. My son is 18 years old and he loves Donald, and I trust Donald with my son totally. I really think that if these rumors were true, someone would have come forward already. And there is no proof of any of these accusations that are being put out there by people who obviously have nothing else better to do that try to make trouble. The only reason I got on here was because it was brought to my attention that someone was spreading horrible gossip about my friend and I felt something needed to be said. I go to church with this man, and I proud to know him.. I'm also not afraid to put my name out there.
dave smith just needs someone else to blame since he did a piss poor job about the dr. chitale scandal. it was his job to prosecute and if he was having problems with joe grubb he should have gone to someone else. what this town needs is a new city manager, new council members that actually care about ennis and are not "yes" people, and a makeover of the police department since half of those lazy S.O.B's dont do anything. you know if you ask the city manager and our ex-chief of police, dale holt, they would make you think that ennis didn't have a drug problem and that statement is somewhat true....we don't have a drug problem...everyone knows where to get it! wake up ennis!
That's deep - that Ennis Polic Sgt Jeff Smith is in the paper TODAY for assaulting his wife and I find this blog from February that FOR SOME REASON already has Smith tagged as one who beats his wife.

I just want to say to ANYONE who believes Donald Kemp is a child molester... I have known this man AND his family since i was born. I lived next to his family until i was about 12. He is nothing like his own father. Donald has been there for many of my friends and been like a father to a certain one. Im 18 now and would trust Donald with my life! I know for a fact what a great rolemodel he is for many teenagers. Anyone who thinks otherwise or believes any stories about him being otherwise should shut up and get proof before spreading rumors. I mean COME ON PEOPLE. you live in ENNIS "gossip" TEXAS! you cant believe EVERYTHING that goes around! you know that! Until anything against Kemp is PROVED you should be careful with spreading rumors. Its sad that the drama is not only in the teens/schools but amongst the adults. Grow up and take a step back before you hurt somebody. Spreading rumors about someone could ruin them. ESPECIALLY if its not TRUE! I hear things around town that disgust me. But until its proven to me im not going to believe them. Neither should you!
